They never stand up fully, Don't the designers realsie that this is how we conserve energy as humans, the ability of locking our knee area into a self supporting leg is perfect. I know they probably have springs or elastic to keep it in that position, but all major advances in technology end up useing natures ability to create perfection. it's what nature teaches us and we as humans combine that makes this stuff work!! Don't get me wrong it's impressive, but it's going to be 2nd to a uprighter!
